OzKosh is the aviation event at Narromine that was previously known as AusFly. Grant flew up to Narromine with a friend to spend the Saturday of the event on site and provide solo commentary for the air display during the day.
Airshow Commentary & Interviews at AusFly 2015
Steve & Grant joined up with Maikha Ly to provide commentary at AusFly 2015 on the 4th & 5th of September 2015. Once again Allan Van’t Padje of Show Sound provided the airshow PA system (setup, operation & tear down).
Once again this year the team were working with the Paul Bennet Air Shows team who arranged the air display along with The Russian Roolettes, Jim & Jenny Wickham and the RAAF Roulettes.
Southern Skies Media has provided air display commentary, PA system and airshow “radio” audio & interviews for every AusFly since the inaugural event in 2011 and are looking forward to returning once again in 2016.
If you’d like to enquire about having Steve & Grant provide commentary for your event, please call Grant on 0422 914 949.

AusFly Radio & Commentary
In September 2012 the team from Southern Skies Online Media packed their full airshow PA and remote studio into a pair of trucks & drove for 10 hours up to Narromine, New South Wales for the AusFly event.
Combining our aviation talent with our audio gear & remote broadcast equipment, we were able to provide a full airshow PA system that included a low-power broadcast radio and live stream to the Internet. Running for three days, we conducted interviews, played pre-recorded content and ran the commentary during each day’s air displays.
Covering a full flight line, display area and trade hall, we kept the audience informed & entertained throughout the event. We also provided the PA system for the dinner event at the end of the show.
